At Austin Peay, we are large enough to offer you a broad range of educational and social options, but small enough to treat you as an individual. Austin Peay is offering limited free reservations for its Nov. 9, 2024, Observatory Night. Astronomy enthusiasts can explore celestial objects through state-of-the-art telescopes. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the 365bet School Farm. Register early, as spots fill quickly.
Austin Peay is celebrating first-generation college students during its inaugural First-Generation College Celebration Week. Jackie Velasquez, a former first-generation student, now coordinates the Latino Community Resource Center, supporting others in their educational journeys. Austin Peay provides various resources, including scholarships and programs, to help first-generation students succeed in higher education.
Austin Peay State University's Department of Chemistry will host "Crafting Soap with Science," a hands-on workshop exploring soap-making chemistry for students ages 12 and up, on Dec. 7.
