Dr. Tucker Brown is the Senior Vice Provost and Associate Vice President of Academic
Affairs and reports directly to the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic
Affairs. Dr. Brown's primary responsibilities include:

Tucker Brown l Interim Senior Vice Provost & Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs
Jasmine O’Brien holds a Master of Professional Studies and Bachelor of Science degree
from Austin Peay State University. Jasmine joined the Academic Affairs staff in May
of 2017 after working in the Office of the Registrar for 11 years. In her current
role as Curriculum Coordinator, she is responsible for overseeing the development
and modification of all program and course offerings at Austin Peay State University
and working with Faculty to ensure compliance with THEC curriculum processes and SACSCOC
policies related to Degree Requirements, Substantive Change and Credit Hour.
Lisa has been employed with Austin Peay State University since 2004, beginning in
the Center for Extended & Distance Education. She joined the Academic Affairs team
in 2016 where she serves in the role of Senior Administrative Assistant.
Kyle Christmas serves as the Director of Special Projects and joined the 365bet team
in March 2021. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English, Master of Arts in Teaching,
and Master of Arts in English from Austin Peay State University. Prior to working
in higher education, Kyle spent nine years in secondary education, teaching Honors
and Advanced Placement English courses and serving 6th-12th grade students in a variety
of capacities.
Melissa Kates Ι Director of the Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence
Melissa Kates has been with Austin Peay State University since 2003 and currently
serves as Associate Professor of Health and Human Performance in the College of Behavioral
and Health Sciences. She began her three year, eleven month appointment as Director
of the CAFE on June 15, 2021.
Amanda Wornhoff Ι Director of Institutional Effectiveness & Assessment (IEA)
Dr. Amanda Wornhoff is the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment
and joined the 365bet community in 2020. She has experience in curriculum, assessment,
faculty affairs, and student success. Prior to working in university administration,
Dr. Wornhoff taught and directed undergraduate writing. As a first-generation college
student, she is committed to providing accessible, high-quality learning experiences
to all students, regardless of background. She holds an Ed.D. in higher education
leadership and policy from Vanderbilt University and an M.A. in English from Roosevelt
University in Chicago.
